On February 28, 2023, SWISS UMEF celebrated, at Salle du Faubourg in Geneva, the obtention of the institutional Federal Accreditation, making it thus, the first, and until now only, private higher education institution, to have obtained such a recognition of its quality by the highest Swiss authority.
It was a great honour and pleasure to welcome over 320 guests from different backgrounds such as politicians, representatives of the economy, parents, students, faculty and other honourable guests.
The ceremony was opened by HE Petre Roman, President of Swiss UMEF, and former prime minister of Romania, and several professors, alumni and students. This was followed by Swiss UMEF managing director, Prof. Djawed Sangdel, who thanked the guests and talked about the importance of education and the future of the institution. He stressed that the objective of Swiss UMEF is not only to graduate future students but also to assist them in creating value for themselves and for society in their specific areas.
