On 26 June 2024, SWISS UMEF organised a captivating seminar focused on workplace health, bringing together industry professionals, HR managers, and business leaders to discuss this crucial issue. The event was highlighted by the participation of Mr Pierre Maudet, State Councilor in charge of the Department of Health and Mobility, who shared his expertise and insights on best practices in workplace health and safety.
In his speech, Mr Maudet shed light on the current challenges organisations face in ensuring employee well-being, as well as the strategies needed to create a healthy and productive work environment. Participants also had the opportunity to engage with the speaker during a fruitful Q&A session, where concrete solutions to improve working conditions were explored.
This seminar addressed a range of topics, including the importance of risk prevention, the role of continuous training for employees, and the benefits of a well-defined health policy within companies. The discussions were particularly productive, underscoring the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors in tackling workplace health challenges.
